Residents of Bryan and College Station be advised: It's not Richard Petty in that car. They may see a guy driving around in a replica of Petty's 1970 No. 43 SuperBird. Bryan's Phil Brand entered a year-long contest through Sue Bee Honey and won the classic Winston Cup car. "Before I was a licensed driver, I used to stay on the bus past my stop to the Chrysler dealership to see the SuperBirds on the lot," Brand said. "I dreamed of how I could come up with the $4,000 sticker price."
